My name is Luiza. This blog is for my AICE Media class and its where I’ll be showing me and my partner's project called "The Written Frustration". That project is about using different camera shots to tell a story and show emotions without any dialogue or videos.
In our story the main focus is a piece of paper. My partner and I decided to close ups, long shots, and high/low angles to make the paper feel like the center of attention also by focussing on the paper instead of the surroundings. The way the characters interact trough it instead of talking to eachother shows tension and some kind of mystery. For example when we used close ups to highlight the words being written and crossed out, and long shots to show the distance between the characters.
This blog is just a place for me to explain the choices we made, how the shots help express the mood and why we chose those shots.
